Most men have always preferred to have a muscular body and those with lean bodies have craved for it even more. Unless you are an athlete participating in high endurance sport activities, you need not go through vigorous training sessions to build muscles.
One can easily build muscles without the use of weights, but you do need to exercise in order to achieve it. So the first thing you need to ask yourself is what kind of body you are actually looking to achieve. Do you want a fit and athletic look or would you like a more muscular He-Man look? Once that is decided, you need to set a goal and then see whether your genetic buildup will allow you to achieve that set goal. Also you need to concentrate on your diet better, as an unhealthy diet will never let you gain the muscles you seek, instead you can expect to put on weight and several other problems that go with it. Also you must have enough sleep, as this gives your body time to repair the effects of the strain it endured during the training session.
The most important fact that you need to keep in mind, is that muscles will build only when you put in a lot of stress on them. So if you are looking to building muscles without the use of weights, you need to work on your exercise routine. Also you must bear in mind that your body weight must have the resistance to take up the stress that you put in through the exercises, you choose to do. You must exercise at least four times a week, wherein you can set aside two days for exercising the upper body and two days for the lower body in order to maintain a proper balance and achieve your goal to the maximum.
Some of the simplest yet effective muscle building regimes without the use of weights are pushups, chin-ups, dips, squats and lunges. These are basic exercises that you can do at home without using any kind of weights or expensive equipment to build or tone muscles. You can gradually increase the reps as you proceed into the routine, as more stress will mean larger and bulkier muscles. However, be aware that you cannot build muscles in a day, so do not overload your muscles because you will only be causing it injury. Think rationally, concentrate on your diet and follow a proper workout regime and soon you will achieve your goal.
